Birthday Cake Lampshades Advice For Baking The Perfect Birthday Cake?

Advice for baking the perfect birthday cake? - birthday cake lampshades

My son's birthday is tomorrow and I make a cake for his party, with a store bought cake mix (Funfetti) with frosting.

I am not a baker, I follow the instructions and consistency is always good. But do not spoil Merengue!

Silly question, one should take the cake from the pan and on the head before cutting meringue? How long should I wait here?

Thank you for your advice!

did u bake the cake in a 9x13 inch pan? Otherwise, they leave in the pan, no need to turn around before frosting. Let cool for a moment, then frost and decorate, if you care.

I've always for the cake to cool, then in the freezer for a few hours before icing. This will avoid "Coating" as the icing on the cake.
