Electric go kart? - electric go kart plans
I try an electric go-kart this summer and I have all Peices get build together. I currently have a framework (you can change it if necessary). I also have a motor, 90 volt, 2.5 hp, 2400 rpm and 23.8 amps. I think with a couple of car batteries as a new power. I know I need more than that, but I do not know what it is. Any help? And two piles of work, or do I need more?

Standard car batteries are a poor choice to start the car, you must use a battery for deep bicycle. Two car batteries is only 24 volts (series), and they are at least 8 12V batteries of this type have to go to> please 90v engine.
In addition to the motor and batteries you need a driver and a boat engine throttle lead to the treatment. Attach the towing package / driver / engine 4GA at least safer.
90 volts is not super high, but enough to hurt you if you fall on the wrong parts. Study for EVS and how to safely work on them. There is much information that they have fun learning.
Need Battery 1 x 90 volt or 2 volts x45 maybe something like this ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/14-HERCULES-DRY-BA
You also need the amplifier to the battery info .. to see whether your insurance or compatible and use the correct number of amps the son.
Many problems and very dangerous if not done correctly ..
A Kart Gasoline is by far the best option for very different reasons.
